The 2010 Business Network

Membership in the 2010 Business Network will showcase and promote your business to 2010-related buyers looking for suppliers of goods and services. The 2010 Business Network will also be used by both domestic and international companies looking to joint venture with or sub-contract to businesses, including those with sustainability and aboriginal features or qualifications.

Sustainability Committee

The Strathcona BIA has started a Sustainability Committee that is interested in developing Strathcona into a Green zone for economic and social reasons. An energy efficiency program through BC Hydro would be an important part of this initiative. The goal would be to permanently reduce energy consumption within the SBIA through energy efficient technologies and long term behaviours.

The BC Hydro plan would launch in conjunction with the SBIA's upcoming Sustainability Expo - Sustainability 1.0 - on Thursday, January 24, 2008 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at 'Chapel Arts', 304 Dunlevy Ave.  Please call 604-258-2727 to become a sponsor, to volunteer or to simply learn more about this event.
